Ms. Gauge after winning Grand Champion Doe at the Star of Texas Boer Goat show in Austin, Texas in March 2007.  She was flushed to Bo Jangle and the kids arrived in the middle of May.  They look awesome!

Our new stud buck has really gotten us excited getting a lot of attention at the shows.  He has been shown five times and placed first each time as well as one Grand Champion and two Reserve Grand Champions.

Welcome to Widener Boer Goats Website.  We are located in Clyde, Texas, approximately 12 miles east of Abilene.  In 1998 we started raising goats for the sole purpose of weed control.  In 2003, we decided to start raising full bloods.  We first bought 5 bred does.  In search of more does and a buck, we decided to buy top quality show goats.  We feel really lucky to have purchased some of the finest boers around.  We have combined some of the top breeders genetics in the industry to make up our very competitive breeding and show program.  We strive to breed the highest quality boer goat possible by combining our very best boer does to the award winning, first class bucks available.  We have built our herd by closely following the boer goat breed standards and culling those boer goats with undesirable traits.  We are very proud to own and have bred some of the most competitive boer goats in the industry.
